I’m a mom to two sets of twins, ages 8 and 5, and I’ve been
married to my husband for ten years. I was diagnosed with
stage 2 breast cancer two years ago at age 36 with no history in my family. Since then, I’ve undergone chemotherapy,
immunotherapy, radiation and four surgeries. I’ve been
diagnosed with lymphedema in my right arm as a result of the
cancerous lymph nodes removed during my mastectomy.
Now that I’m done with treatment and cancer-free, I’m working to strengthen my body, especially my lymphedema-affected arm, and regain energy to be present and hopeful for my sweet family.
